This painting is my most powerful painting to date. It has had very profound
effects on many people including my good friend and songwriter W. David Barber.
Upon seeing the painting and hearing the meaning behind it he was inspired to
write the poem above. The poem has been engraved on a plaque and mounted on the
bottom of the frame.
The painting is not a painting of a female bound and
blindfolded but of the female spirit that is in both male and female that is bound
by our society and our morals and things much deeper than we can understand.
